Developed by Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA), Mymensingh, Bangladesh
Main characteristics The plants are taller in height with higher number of silliqua, bold seed and black seed coat color.
Year of release 2011
Planting season and time The optimum time of sowing ranges from October 25- November 20.
Days to maturity This variety matures within 100-110 days.
Land and soil type It can be grown in high land with sandy loam, clay loam type soils. This variety can be cultivated all over the country.
Resistant/tolerant It is tolerant to Alternaria blight disease
Yield It can produce maximum seed yield of 2.8 t/ha.
Quality of the product The seed contains 44% oil.
