Main characteristics | Edible part not pod but seed are edible as khasha. Plant short, with medium foliage, flower white, pod set in cluster, pod green14-16 cm long and 1.0-1.3 cm wide. Pods/plant 8-10, 5-6 seed in each pod. 100 seed weight 110-115g. Seed blackish grey color, physiologically mature seed edible as khasha. Popular in Chittagong and Sylhet district of Bangladesh. |
