Developed by Bangladesh Agriculture Research Institute(BARI), Gazipur, Bangladesh
Method of development/origin South East Asian collection with the help of AVRDC  and developed by Selection method
Year of release 1996
Main characteristics Pod at green stage is edible like country bean. Pods are light green, fibreless and flat unlike garden pea, the pod length is 8cm and width is 2 cm the average number of pod/plant is 25. Garden peas is soft, with immature seed green pod are edible. Pods are edible as salad or boil. Mature dry seed round and green. Rapid growing.
Planting season and time Rabi and the month of November
Harvesting time Sowing to harvesting time require 60-65 days,
Yield 12-14  t/ha
Resistance/tolerance Downy mildew  and powdery mildew disease preventive
