Main characteristics | Stem straight, pillar shape and green color, leaf green and peltate shape, stem thick and pink color. Middle and other vain of lower portion of leaf sheath deep pink color and upper portion pink color. Petiole and joint of petiole and leaf sheath pink color. Rhizome pink color and flesh light pink which are identical than other variety. Mainly produced rhizome but stolon is produced in limited scale. Comparatively lower calcium oxalates, free from acidity, boiled homogeneously. This variety is cultivated all regions of Bangladesh. |
