Main characteristics This is a high yielding variety. Plant height varies from 35-40 cm. Seed coat color is black, which is the characteristics feature of this variety. However, its grain color is normal, i.e. reddish yellow.
Year of release 2001
Days to maturity Maturity period ranges between 125-130 days.
Resistant/tolerant It is resistant to rust disease.
Yield Maximum seed yield potential is 2.0t/ha (av.1.8 t/ha).
