I am very much delighted and happy to know that the Department of Crop Botany of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University has developed a “Digital Herbarium of Crop Plants” with the financial assistance of the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) under the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh and supported by the World Bank.

Images and databases of the crop plants comprising field, horticultural, forest, and medicinal plants are digitized and developed into a virtual herbarium (www.dhcrop.bsmrau.net). The virtual herbarium is linked with other related websites.

I believe that students, academicians, and researchers will benefit from this website.
