Method of development/originThe variety has been developed from white millet collected from Franch.
Year of release 1990

 

Main characteristics High yielding early maturing variety.Plant medium height (70-75cm), plants are stout that they are resistance to lodging, tiller 5-6, panicles are long(20cm) and seeds are compact and relatively larger size. Grain light off white,1000grain weight 4.5-4.75 g,  Yield comparatively 35-40% more than local variety,9-10 days before ripening than local variety.
