Main characteristics Leafy vegetable, suitable for summer season, upland cultivation, both leaves and petioles are edible. Petiole of leaf and stem green, soft and fleshy. Leaf 6-9 cm long and 5-8 cm wide. Flower is white. Seed coat hard, grey color. Seed/fruit 4.  This variety is cultivated all over the Bangladesh.
Planting season and timeKharif season(February –May)
Harvesting time First harvesting starts after 30 days of sowing and subsequent harvest at 10 days interval.
Yield40-45 t/ha
