Main characteristics | BARI Mash-2 is erect and attains a height of 33-35 cm. Its flowers 35-40 days after emergence and reaches physiological maturity 70-75 days after emergence. Leaves are trifoliate, alternate and green, leaf pubescence is present, petioles are short and purple-green, the corolla is yellowish green, the raceme position is above the canopy, mature pods are black and have hair, seeds are drum-shaped and blackish, seed larger than local variety, 1000 seed weight 32-36 g. Cooking time 30-35 min, crop duration 65-70 days, day neutral variety. |
