Main characteristics | The variety is semi-dwarf, early maturing and high yielding variety. Plant height 95-100 cm. Number of tiller 4-5, at younger stage tiller is semi erect, leaf broad and deep green, flag leaf broad and erect, medium wax coating has present in panicle, stem and leaf sheath, plant deep green, very few hair present in upper culm node , panicle initiation time 57-61 days, spike long, grain/panicle 45-50, grain white, glossy and large size, 1000 grain weight 54-58 g. Glume of lower portion of spikelet shoulder high narrow and sloppy, lip small(<5 mm) and spine has present in lip, crop duration 102-110 days. |
